Twin/Double Sphere Flexible Joint

 

RUBBER-KU twin sphere rubber expansion joint is also known as a flexible joint and rubber bellow. It has two spheres working as a pair hence the name twin sphere. It can be installed and used on both suction and discharge piping. The purpose of the rubber expansion joint is to reduce piping stress, take up pipe misalignment, allow for axial compression and elongation/extension, reduce noise and vibration in the area where the piping is located. They also absorb water pulsation and minimize water hammer. The twin sphere model allows for greater movement results than a single sphere model, enabling customers to achieve a solution when a single sphere bellow cannot provide enough movements.

 

The twin sphere model is a moulded design made from heat resisting synthetic elastomers. Installed with floating flanges that fit into the rubber ends, this is achieved by a machined groove in the flange. Standard flanges will not work, they need to have a groove machined out of the flange. No gaskets are required when installing a rubber expansion joint.

 

Sphere type rubber expansion joints are not capable of absorbing more than one movement at a time. For example if there is a compression movement at the same time as a torsional twist, the joint is not designed for this, and will likely fail. Contact us if your application requires a rubber expansion joint to have two movements at the same time, and we will find a solution.

 

The bellows are reinforced with tough nylon fibre throughout for added strength, and on each end where the flange fits into the rubber there is a cord with high tensile strength for rigidity, so that the working pressure can be achieved.

 

Material options are EPDM, NBR, Neoprene, Natural Rubber. Food grade: White.

Sirim approval on EPDM rubber suitable for potable water.

Flange specification options are Table E, ANSI, BS, JIS, DIN.

Flange material options are Carbon steel zinc plated, Galvanised steel, 304 stainless steel and 316 stainless steel, Ductile Iron.

Size options are in the range of DN32 upto DN600.

Other options include Vacuum rings when negative pressure is greater than 600mm H.g, control rods/tie rods to prevent excessive movements, and external covers.

Pressure ratings are 7.5 Bar to 16 Bar. With other options available on request.

 

Different overall lengths are available on request.

RUBBER-KU mempunyai dua sfera yang berfungsi sebagai pasangan maka dinamakan sfera berkembar.  Ia boleh dipasang dan digunakan pada kedua-dua paip sedutan dan pelepasan.  Tujuan sambungan pengembangan getah adalah untuk mengurangkan tekanan paip, mengambil salah jajaran paip, membenarkan mampatan paksi dan pemanjangan/sambungan, mengurangkan bunyi dan getaran di kawasan di mana paip berada.  Mereka juga menyerap denyutan air dan meminimumkan tukul air.  Model sfera berkembar membolehkan hasil pergerakan yang lebih besar daripada model sfera tunggal, membolehkan pelanggan mencapai penyelesaian apabila satu sfera di bawah tidak dapat memberikan pergerakan yang mencukupi.

 

Model sfera berkembar ialah reka bentuk acuan yang diperbuat daripada elastomer sintetik tahan haba.  Dipasang dengan bebibir terapung yang sesuai dengan hujung getah, ini dicapai dengan alur bermesin dalam bebibir.  Bebibir standard tidak akan berfungsi, mereka perlu mempunyai alur yang dimesin keluar dari bebibir.  Tiada gasket diperlukan semasa memasang sambungan pengembangan getah.

 

Sambungan pengembangan getah jenis sfera tidak mampu menyerap lebih daripada satu pergerakan pada satu masa.  Sebagai contoh jika terdapat pergerakan mampatan pada masa yang sama dengan pusingan kilasan, sambungan tidak direka untuk ini, dan berkemungkinan akan gagal.  Hubungi kami jika aplikasi anda memerlukan sambungan pengembangan getah untuk mempunyai dua pergerakan pada masa yang sama dan kami akan mencari penyelesaian.

 

Belos dikuatkan dengan gentian nilon yang kuat untuk kekuatan tambahan, dan pada setiap hujung tempat bebibir dimuatkan ke dalam getah terdapat tali dengan kekuatan tegangan tinggi untuk ketegaran, supaya tekanan kerja boleh dicapai.

 

Pilihan bahan ialah EPDM, NBR, Neoprena, Getah Asli.  Gred makanan: Putih.

Kelulusan Sirim pada getah EPDM.

Pilihan spesifikasi bebibir ialah Table E, ANSI, BS, JIS, DIN.

Pilihan bahan bebibir ialah bersalut zink keluli karbon, Keluli tergalvani, keluli tahan karat 304 dan keluli tahan karat 316, Besi Mulur.

Pilihan saiz ada dalam julat DN32 hingga DN600.

Pilihan lain termasuk gelang vakum apabila tekanan negatif melebihi 600mm H.g, rod kawalan/batang pengikat untuk mengelakkan pergerakan berlebihan dan penutup luar.

Penilaian tekanan ialah 7.5 Bar hingga 16 Bar.  Dengan pilihan lain yang tersedia atas permintaan.

Panjang keseluruhan yang berbeza tersedia atas permintaan.
