Styrene Butadiene Rubber (SBR) has good abrasion resistance and an excellent impact and cut-and-gouge resistance. It can be compounded to use as skirtboard rubber, lining rubber, conveyor belt covers, tires and other extremely demanding applications. It is frequently used as a low cost general purpose gasket material.

SBR should not be used in applications involving strong acids, grease and chlorates. SBR offers little resistance to ozone and the majority of hydrocarbons.

 

 

Beside SBR, RUBBER-KU Rubber sheeting can be used in a wide assortment of applications across various industrial sectors.  Rubber sheets are preferred among many industries due to their ease of use and efficiency as an insulator.  Rubber sheeting is available in many different durometers. (Durometer is a numerical value which indicates the resistance to indentation). Rubber sheeting is perfect for applications where sealing or protection is needed and can be a very cost effective material to use.

Neoprene Rubber Sheets:  A synthetic rubber made by polymerizing 2-chlor-1, 3-butadiene. Neoprene compounds are preferred for their resistance to oil, sunlight and ozone. There are various types, most of which are vulcanizable without the use or sulfur. Neoprene is resistant to ammonia, freon, oxygen, ozone and many other fluids. An excellent material for use in pump and refrigeration applications. Neoprene is a synthetic rubber used to make gaskets which are commonly used for exposed environment applications, such as those involving sea water. 

 

NBR Rubber Sheets: (aka Buna-N, NBR, Nitrile) is the standard in hydraulic and pneumatic sealing elastomers. Its oil-resistant nature makes it the top choice of materials being used with petroleum based hydraulic fluids. Buna-N has a good abrasion resistance, high tensile strength and resistance to compression set.

 

Viton Sheets (High performance Fluoroelastomer) is a synthetic rubber sheet that performs well in hot and corrosive environments with a -20°F to 400°F temperature rating.  Is is resistant to oils, fuels, lubricants, most mineral acids, and aliphatic hydrocarbon fluids that act as solvents to other types of rubber.  It has excellent resistance to fungus and mold.

 

EPDM Rubber Sheets:  Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer. An elastomer is used in applications that deal with acids, weak alkalies, and automotive brake fluids.  Most effective rubber outdoors with high resistance to ozone and sunlight.

 

Silicone Rubber Sheets: Silicone is a synthetic rubber used to make gaskets. Silicone can withstand 200°C, and is chemically inert, which makes it superior in the food processing industry.

Neoprene Sheet / CR Sheet

 

CR neoprene rubber (CR Rubber Sheet) is a synthetic material that offers excellent resistance to ageing, ozone and weathering and is commonly used in external applications for gaskets, linings.

 

★ Temperature: -30°C up to +70°C.

★ Good performance of sealability and anti-swelling.

★ Good resistance to heat, ozone and weather.

★ Moderate resistance to aliphatic hydrocarbons.

 

RUBBER-KU Neoprene Sheet provides moderate resistance to animal and vegetable oils and inorganic salts, but is not suitable for use with aromatic hydrocarbons and ketones.

 

Neoprene is know for its resistance to oil, gasoline, sunlight, ozone and oxidation; however, there are other polymers that have better resistance to these same elements. CR’s most important advantage is its ability to combine these properties moderately into one all-purpose polymer.

Shore Hardness: 65° ± 5°.

 

 

Getah neoprena CR (Getah CR) ialah bahan sintetik yang menawarkan ketahanan yang sangat baik terhadap penuaan, ozon dan luluhawa dan biasanya digunakan dalam aplikasi luaran untuk gasket, pelapik.

 

★ Suhu: -30°C hingga +70°C.

★ Prestasi baik kebolehdapan dan anti-bengkak.

★ Ketahanan yang baik terhadap haba, ozon dan cuaca.

★ Kerintangan sederhana terhadap hidrokarbon alifatik.

 

Neoprena RUBBER-KU memberikan rintangan sederhana terhadap minyak haiwan dan sayuran serta garam tak organik, tetapi tidak sesuai digunakan dengan hidrokarbon aromatik dan keton.

 

Neoprena terkenal dengan ketahanannya terhadap minyak, petrol, cahaya matahari, ozon dan pengoksidaan;  walau bagaimanapun, terdapat polimer lain yang mempunyai rintangan yang lebih baik terhadap unsur-unsur yang sama ini.  Kelebihan CR yang paling penting ialah keupayaannya untuk menggabungkan sifat-sifat ini secara sederhana menjadi satu polimer serba guna.
