Why use ribbed strip curtains? 

The ribbed strip curtain reduces scratching from loads passing through the opening. The high ridge of the strip takes the friction leaving the low part of the strip clear and easy to see through.

Are ribbed strip curtains ideal for people? 

Ribbed strip curtains are better suited to motorized traffic with light foot traffic from people. They are a heavier strip due to the ridges of the ribs.

Are the ribbed strips more expensive? 

Yes, ribbed strips are about 15% more expensive than a standard flat strip.

Are the ribbed strips difficult to install? 

No. Just like standard flat strips the ribbed strips are easy to install and require no special tools. Just place the strips over the studded hardware and lock the strip down with the nut and washer.
